Yes, we will be open this weekend (July 2 and 3). We are open EVERY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY 9-6. This includes blizzards, Christmas, my birthday, your birthday, nuclear war, locusts, and Groundhog Day.
I spend a lot of my time repeating myself: Yes, the books are free. Yes, we accept donations of any and all books and magazines, regardless of age or subject matter. Yes, we are open this weekend. No, the books aren’t alphabetized. Go in the door labeled “Entrance.” Drop off books in the book drop.
The Book Thing has started to advertise, but the best advertising is done by word of mouth. Don’t be shy, tell all your friends; Yes, the books are free. Yes, we accept donations of any and all books and magazines regardless of age or subject matter. Yes, we are open this weekend…etc. We need people to bookmark this page and use it when they go shopping on Amazon or other sites that give us kickbacks for recommending them.
